Eric Scott Esch, widely known as Butterbean, is an American former professional boxer, kickboxer, mixed martial artist, and professional wrestler. He became famous in the 1990s for his knockout power, larger-than-life personality, and unique appearance. His crossover into multiple combat sports helped expand his global popularity.

Butterbean gained mainstream attention after knocking out Johnny Knoxville in Jackass: The Movie. He also appeared in professional wrestling events, including matches for World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE).
