FAQs

R3 Travel Concierge Program FAQ’s

What Conditions are Treated?

Conditions being treated include musculoskeletal (bone/joint) conditions such as Arthritis and Tendonitis, Neuropathy, Pelvic Pain, COPD, Autism, Kidney Failure, Diabetes, Neurologic Conditions (e.g. Alzheimers, Stroke, ALS, MS), Autoimmune Conditions, Lyme Disease and Heart Failure.

How much do the treatments cost?

R3 Stm Cell International has made the cost of treatment exceptionally cost effective. Comprehensive treatment includes 30 million live stem cells for only $2950! If an additional 20 million live stem cells are either desired or needed the added cost is only $1000. The fee includes VIP escorted transportation from San Diego to the clinic.

Will insurance help pay for treatment?

No insurance coverage is available for the treatments.

Are there financing options available?

Yes, R3 has arrangements with several financing programs that can help pay for your treatment. We will happily provide those options.

What is included in the travel program fee?

Ground transportation to the clinic from San Diego is included in the treatment fee. While your patient concierge representative will gladly help you with air and lodging arrangements, those fees are not covered by R3.

When are the treatments offered?

For the systemic conditions such as COPD, Kidney Failure, Diabetes, autoimmune diseases and neurologic conditions, treatments are offered in Tijuana weekly. For arthritis and neurodegenerative conditions along with erectile dysfunction and aesthetics, the treatments are also offered weekly. Patients are able to fly or drive in on Thursday for Friday treatment or Friday for Saturday treatment. Patients are obviously free to then stay and enjoy the weekend, or fly home.

Are the treatments FDA Approved?

The regenerative biologics used for the procedures are not FDA regulated, as the procedures do not occur in the US. The stem cells come from a longstanding biologics lab in Mexico with a pristine safety record. The quality assurance standards exceed the FDA!

Are the treatments safe?

The regenerative procedures offered have shown to be very low risk with minimal adverse events reported. R3 Stem Cell’s Centers have performed over 12,000 stem cell procedures successfully over the past 8 years in the United States and Mexico.

Our informed consent does list typical risks of procedures including infection, bleeding, allergic reaction to anesthesia among other risks. The R3 informed consent has been evaluated and approved by an IRB (institutional Review Board).

Are the treatments effective?

Based on the outcomes being reported at our Centers, the answer is yes. For joint pain, patients have reported considerable reductions in pain and less need for pain medication along with vast improvements in quality of life.

For conditions such as COPD and Kidney Failure, patients are reporting improvements in the ability to walk, less dependence on oxygen and often avoiding the need for dialysis. This also includes neurologic issues too.

Are there any ethical issues with the stem cells used?

The stem cell materials used for the procedures have no ethical issues. The amniotic fluid, placenta and umbilical cord tissue are acquired after scheduled c-section procedures from consenting, screened donors. The babies are fine and the biologic material is normally discarded after birth. No embryonic stem cells are used during ANY of the procedures.

Where do the treatments occur?

Currently, R3 International offers stem cell  procedures at a contemporary facility in Tijuana Mexico. The facility is only 20 minutes from San Diego International Airport.
