Jakarta is newer. The protocols, the sourcing standards and the people reviewing your case are not.
We think that distinction matters more than a superlative. A clinic that opened last year with borrowed protocols and a clinic that opened last year inside a 12 year old network are two different propositions, and you deserve to know which one you are talking to.
R3 Stem Cell was founded by Dr. David Greene, MD, PhD, MBA, a former orthopedic surgeon who left clinical practice to build the company.
That background shapes what we do and what we refuse to do. Orthopedic surgeons spend their careers on joints, tendons and the moment a patient is told the only option left is a replacement. R3 exists mostly in the years before that moment.
Dr. Greene has also spent over a decade on patient education, on the argument that people make better decisions when someone bothers to explain the actual evidence instead of the brochure version. In 2018 he started the R3 Stem Cell Heroes Program, which provides regenerative therapy at no cost to selected military veterans, teachers and first responders. Anyone can nominate someone. You can nominate yourself.

Indonesia has roughly 280 million people, a fast growing middle class, and a regulatory framework for sel punca that is stricter and better documented than most of the region. That last part is the reason we came.
The Ministry of Health publishes a public register of every facility cleared to handle stem cells. Hospitals, processing laboratories, cord blood banks, all named, at keslan.kemkes.go.id. Very few countries do this. It means an Indonesian patient can verify a clinic’s supply chain in an afternoon, which is a protection patients in a lot of wealthier countries simply do not have.
We would rather operate somewhere that checks. It keeps everyone honest, including us.
Our clinic sits on Jl. Wolter Monginsidi in Kebayoran Baru. Short drive from Blok M, Senayan or Kuningan. We chose it because most of our patients come to us more than once, and a location you dread driving to is a location you stop visiting.
Our treatments use mesenchymal stem cells derived from Wharton’s jelly in donated umbilical cord tissue, platelet rich plasma drawn from your own blood, and exosome products.
At Kebayoran Baru we use these for joints and soft tissue. Knee, hip, shoulder, lower back, neck, hand and wrist, elbow, foot and ankle. Sports tendon injuries. The wear that comes from twenty years of the same movement at work. Stiffness that outstayed a surgery. We also do cosmetic work for skin and hair.
Our Jakarta clinic has the facilities needed to provide the treatments we offer. Each patient is assessed individually, and our clinical team determines which treatment is appropriate based on your condition, medical history and treatment goals.
If you are considering regenerative medicine for an autoimmune condition, fertility concern or another systemic condition, your case will be reviewed individually during the consultation. Not every condition is suitable for regenerative medicine, and some patients may be better served by a specialist such as a rheumatologist, fertility specialist or orthopedic physician.
Every cell we inject arrives from a processing laboratory that appears on the Kemenkes register. Not a partner lab. Not an affiliate. A named facility on a public list you can read yourself.
Ask us which one. You will get a name. If a clinic anywhere cannot give you a name, that is your answer about the clinic.
The umbilical cord tissue behind our UC-MSCs is donated after a healthy delivery, with consent, from non embryonic sources only. That is what MUI Fatwa No. 51 of 2020 requires and what Indonesian law requires. We keep the sourcing paperwork on file and we hand it to you, so you can take it to your own ustadz rather than take our word for it.
R3 spent years on research and development around cell expansion. The result is IntelliCell, our proprietary process for expanding mesenchymal stem cells.
What it is built for: consistency of cell viability and potency from batch to batch, at a cost that does not price out ordinary patients. Two batches of MSCs are not automatically equal, and dose consistency is one of the few variables a provider genuinely controls.
What it is not: a guarantee. Regenerative medicine remains research based care in Indonesia. Outcomes vary between patients, and nobody who tells you otherwise is being straight with you.

We do not offer cellular therapy for stroke, Parkinson’s disease, autism, kidney failure, liver failure or ALS. Centres in this region do. The evidence is not there, and families spend savings they cannot rebuild.
We turn those consultations down. It costs us bookings every month and we have made peace with that.
We also say no in smaller ways. Sometimes physiotherapy and eight weeks of loading work is the smarter move, and sometimes the honest recommendation is an orthopedic surgeon. If that is where your case sits, our clinical team will say so during the free consultation, and you will have lost nothing but a phone call.
That is the whole business model, really. A clinic that will tell you not to buy is worth going back to.
