Bambi Lafont, BSN, FNP-C
Bambi is the nurse practitioner at Balance Medical and has been a nurse for over twenty years! Bambi was a personal fitness trainer for fifteen years and has a strong desire to assist her patients in achieving health through diet, physical activity and natural remedies whenever possible.
Her philosophy promotes addressing the cause of a problem and not merely treating the symptoms. Bambi has considerable expertise in the regenerative treatments offered at the practice including amniotic and PRP therapy.
Bambi is from Jackson, Tennessee. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Alabama at Birmingham and her Master’s in Nursing from the University of Memphis.
Dr. Lyndsey Powers, DC
Dr. Lyndsey Powers is co-owner of Balance Medical and Rehab located in Milan, Tennessee. Born in Canada and growing up in northern Michigan she moved to Tennessee in 2006 to pursue her career.
She works as a chiropractor and is also certified as a chiropractic acupuncturist. She studied and received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan in 2002. After suffering from migraine headaches since the age of 12 and having severe spells during college, she met a chiropractor who became her doctor and mentor.
She then went on to study at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa where she received her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in February 2007. She has a passion for educating others on health and wellness related topics.
