Amniotic Stem Cell Therapy Extremity Pain Study

Patients suffering from moderate to severe (≥5 out of 10) chronic pain of an upper extremity joint (e.g., shoulder) or lower extremity joint (e.g., hip/knee) for at least three months caused by degeneration will receive a single injection of amniotic stem cell therapy. Patients’ pain, daily functioning, and medication usage will be assessed before treatment, during and after treatment.

Stem Cell Therapy for Degenerative Disc Disease Study

This study is an FDA clinical trial for degenerative disc disease. Bone marrow from donors is processed and injected into the disc. The study sponsor is Mesoblast and the project is in Phase 3 FDA trials. Arizona Pain Specialists is one of the few nationwide centers offering stem cell treatment as part of the study.
