IRB Approved Stem Cell Research Protocol
R3 Stem Cell’s Centers offer treatment under an IRB approved protocol. IRB stands for institutional review board, which is an accredited third party agency that reviews a study for safety, effectiveness and essentially acts as an advocate for patients. As an example, the IRB for R3 reviewed the study’s paperwork including the Informed Consent, which details the study and any potential adverse events.
The IRB that approved R3’s protocols is accredited by an agency under the Department of Health and Human Services. The study is listed on clinicaltrials.gov.
